Recipe 2: Spies with meat and/or vegetables of your choice

Of course, there are also dishes to which you can add your own interpretation, such as our second recipe. The spies are ideal for a barbecue, as you can slide anything you like on the stick. We make a few suggestions.

Ingredients

- Bratwurst
- Pork meat
- Meatballs
- Paprika
- Onion
- Zucchini
- Mushroom

Preparation

1. If necessary, cut the vegetables and pieces of meat into manageable pieces for the spies.
2. Choose what you want on your spies. Think for example of cubes of pork mixed with pieces of onion and paprika. You can't really go wrong. Prefer a vegetarian stick? Then just choose just the veggies!
3. When you've made your choice and filled up the stick, put it on the barbecue.
4. After 5 to 10 minutes and having turned them a few times, remove the sticks. Enjoy!

Wines

When food is good, a glass of wine can complete the meal. Research has even shown that an hour of exercise is just as healthy as a glass of red wine! So there is no harm in having a glass of wine, although you shouldn't go too crazy. Besides drinking the wine with food, you can also add a dash of it to various recipes to give them even more flavor!
