On December 28 and 29 it is time. Then the Fatpigeon' guys go on a winter adventure together with fifteen other cycling enthusiasts: the #CRAZY500. A challenging bike ride of no less than 500 KM long. On paved and unpaved roads. The participants are challenged to give it their all. They will come face to face with harsh conditions, such as temperatures around zero degrees Celsius and winter precipitation. Added to that are sore muscles, fatigue and exhaustion. In short, a crazy challenge!
But the CRAZY 500 is more than just a rough bike ride. Just like cycling is much more than just cycling. Cycling is also about friendship, history, challenges and so much more. All these elements will be featured during the #CRAZY500. The route is a story that will be a lasting memory for the riders and hopefully a source of inspiration for many others. This team has never been more ready to #embracethewinter in this way.

The route is divided into four stages and starts in the Brabant city of Tilburg. From there, the riders will cycle the first 226 kilometers towards the Belgians Ypres. During the first stage, the cycling enthausiasts get to know each other and find out who else was crazy enough to say 'Yes' to this cycling adventure. Cycling connects. And luckily, because the will need eachother during this tough journey!
After a short night, the riders will cycle through history during the second and third stage of the route. Via an impressive WWI monument, they continue their journey past places wher iconic cyclistst were born. After passing the Roubaix Velodrome and the Muur van Geraardsbergen, there is still a long way for this riders to reach the finish line. At last it is time for the last 150 kilometers, where everything revolves around a strong mindset. That is all you need to complete the bizarre ride. But it's all worth it, becuase after no less then 500 long kilometers, the riders are met by a cold beer, a warm bed and their loved ones.
