The Essential bib tights, or long bike pants with braces, are a classic from our winter collection. This season we have added the Essential tights to our Essential collection, especially for men who prefer cycling pants without braces. The tights have a slightly higher waist, so they do not slide down and stay in place while cycling. Tights without braces may sacrifice a bit on aerodynamics, but you get more freedom of movement in return.
The warm, padded Dynatherm Flex 240 fabric moulds to the contours of your legs because of the 4-waystretch elasticity and features breathability for optimal temperature regulation.
A key consideration when designing our Essential tights was comfort. Comfort is particularly achieved with our Comfort Gel padding. A chamois with comfortable gel pads that provide ample support and with 3D foam volumes for an optimal seat.
Insulation is achieved with the padded fabric and double layer of fabric around the knees. Knees catch the most wind, so good insulation and protection is especially important in this area.
